Activities for kids

Autumn Solstice – celebrated in conjunction with the CIBCA BBQ, Sean O'Sullivan will be hosting colouring competitions (on equinox themes) for the younger ones and practical experiments in determining astronomical alignments for the others. Wikipedia claims that a depiction of the world’s oldest sundial dates from Egypt, 1500bc. We will be remembering one twice as old!
