St. Patrick's Cathedral Grammar School Choir
The award winning St. Patrick's Cathedral Grammar School Choir from Dublin will be giving a recital at St. Martin's in the Wall church. The programme includes some beautiful Irish repertoire by composer's Fintan O' Carroll and Sean Doherty. All welcome to attend.

About The Event
St. Patrick’s Cathedral Grammar School is a small coeducational school in the heart of Dublin 8. The all-inclusive school choir is open to students from 1st to 6th year and currently has a membership of 70. They rehearse during lunchtimes and Wednesday after school.
The Choir are regular participants and prize-winners at the EBS Feis Ceoil, Interschools Music Festival, and the Navan Choral Festival. In October, the choir had great fun participating in a choral workshop with Dr. Róisín Blunnie of DCU as part of National Choral Singing Week. Most recently, the choir participated at the Sligo International Choral Festival and were awarded 2nd place in the 3/ 4 School Choir competition. Currently, the Choir are busy preparing for their annual Carol Service and their first choir trip abroad to Prague in February 2018.
The title of our piece is Lully, Lulla, Lullay and the composer is Philip Stopford.
The piece is unaccompanied and the soloist featured at the end of the recording is 1st year student Davide Antochi.
The Choir Director/Music Teacher is Ms. Áine Balfe.
