☘️CIBCA Christmas Dinner 2025: An enjoyable evening of festive fun!

CIBCA's 2025 Christmas Dinner was held on December 12th at the cosy Café Pointa, and featured a delightful menu of traditional dishes and desserts, prepared with care to capture the essence of an Irish Christmas. Guests, including the Ambassador of Ireland to the Czech Republic, His Excellency Alan Gibbons came together to celebrate the season, reconnect with friends, and support a meaningful cause.
Entertainment in the form of live music was provided by Emil Ryumkin and Elizabeth Verner with guitar, banjo and fiddle providing a mix of traditional Irish and Christmas tunes. Simply Dance performed a captivating Irish Dancing set.
The raffle brought excitement and generosity together, raising 20,800 Kč for the chosen charitable cause - to assist qualifying dancers with travel expenses to attend the World Irish Dance Championships in Chicago in 2026. Raffle prizes included a luxurious hamper from the Embassy of Ireland, exclusive Whiskies, wines and handmade jewellry.
We would like to thank everyone who made this night possible—from the organizers and volunteers to the talented dancers, musicians, raffle prize donators and each guest who brought their unique energy and spirit. Together, you created a truly magical evening that will be remembered long after the holiday season has passed. Photos and video from the evening are published below.
