CIBCA Golf Day

CIBCA Golf Day at Beroun Golf Resort

On Friday, October 18th, the Czech Irish Business and Cultural Association (CIBCA) hosted its annual Golf Day at the beautiful Beroun Golf Resort. The event brought together great company, a relaxed atmosphere, and fine October weather for a day that was as enjoyable as it was competitive.

The day began with participants teeing off on one of the Czech Republic’s most scenic golf courses. Players navigated the challenges of the course, showcasing their skills while enjoying the crisp autumn air. The camaraderie among players was evident, with plenty of friendly banter and encouragement adding to the fun of the event.

The competition saw some standout performances:

Nick Reader claimed the Nearest the Pin title with his precise play.

Sean Curran impressed everyone with his power, winning the Longest Drive.

Garret Byrne took home the Best High Handicap award, demonstrating skill and perseverance.

• The overall champion of the day was Richard Curran, whose exceptional performance earned him the top prize.

After the rounds were complete, participants gathered to relax and enjoy refreshments. The post-golf gathering featured delicious snacks, drinks, and plenty of laughter as everyone celebrated the day’s achievements and shared their favorite moments from the course.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Beroun Golf Resort for their excellent hospitality and for generously donating prizes, as well as to Fortuna Entertainment Group for their invaluable support of the event.

The CIBCA Golf Day was more than just a golf tournament—it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, network with new faces, and embrace the spirit of community that defines CIBCA.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and can’t wait to welcome even more participants to share in this fantastic tradition. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success!
