About Us:

The Czech Irish Business Association was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organisation. Its purpose is to provide a networking platform for Irish, Czech and international friends of the Irish community in the Czech Republic. The generous donation of our sponsors enable us to arrange business, social and cultural events throughout the year, which aim to be informative as well as entertaining. They also offer our members a great opportunity to meet, whether for business or pleasure, and provide a networking platform for new members.

In 2012, CIBA became CIBCA, the Czech Irish Business and Cultural Association. The change of name reflects that as well as being a platform for business for the Irish and international communities in the Czech Republic, CIBCA understands that culture has always been very important for the Irish Community and is dedicated to providing, and supporting, cultural events in the Czech Republic. CIBCA also supports and raises funds for various charities in the Czech Republic.

Charity Partners:

If there’s something troubling you, then you can contact the Samaritans. Their vision is fewer people dying by suicide in Ireland and work to achieve this making it their mission to alleviate emotional distress and reduce the incidence of suicide feelings and suicidal behaviour in Ireland.

Acorus provides assistence to victims of domestic violence and aids the return to normal life without violence.

Established in 2009 and based in Prague, Pink Crocodile is non-profit organization that is focused on supporting hearing impaired and complex needs children living under disadvantaged circumstances.

CESTA DOMŮ (The Homecoming) provides expert care to terminally ill persons and to their caregivers.
