On March 18th, CIBCA - Czech Irish Business and cultural association held its Saint Patrick's Day gala event, a celebration of Irish culture and heritage. The event was a huge success, with a friendly, fun mood and over CZK 180,000 (c. €7800) raised for CIBCA's charity and cultural partners, including Acorus, People in Need, and Rinceoiri
The event featured live music from Shannon, Irish dancing by Rinceori, and a fabulous variety of food and drinks. It was a great opportunity for the Irish in the Czech Republic and their friends and business partners to come together and celebrate the Irish spirit of camaraderie and goodwill. We were aided by the big rugby win!
Thanks to Ambassador Cliona Manahan and Minister Malcolm Noonan for joining and addressing our gathering. Further thanks to Ladislav Muller for the ongoing support of the Enterprise Ireland team in Prague and to all those who contributed to our auctions and raffle.
Thanks for the hard work and dedication of all the committee members (especially Eoin Hanley FCIPD) to make this event successful.
We look forward to continuing our efforts to impact the community positively.
