The International Festival of Celtic Culture Lughnasad is held annually on the last weekend of July. — The **International Festival of Celtic Culture Lughnasad** is held annually on the last weekend of July.

The International Celtic Culture Festival Lughnasad is held annually under the patronage of the Ambassador of Ireland to the Czech Republic in the open-air museum Země Celtů in Nasavrky near Chrudim in the middle of the Železné Mountains. The festival is a celebration of the Celtic festival of harvest, and has a program for the whole family. It consists of musical shows by Czech and foreign bands, lectures and workshops. You can get a flavour of the festival from its You Tube channel.

The Festival is looking for new artists, instructors, and performers for its 20th anniversary edition, which will take place in the summer of 2026 (July 31–August 1, 2026).

The year 2026 will be a special one – the organisers want to create a vibrant, inspiring, and diverse program that connects traditional Celtic culture with its modern expressions.

The festival is especially looking for:

Dance groups and performers (Irish, Scottish, Breton, balfolk, and other styles with traditional or historical roots),
Dance workshop lecturers who can engage the audience and share the joy of movement,
Instructors and teachers of movement-based activities – ideally ones that resonate with the spirit of the festival (rooted in tradition or inspired by history).

Mezinárodní festival keltské kultury Lughnasad hledá nové umělce, lektory a performery pro svůj jubilejní 20. ročník, který se uskuteční v létě 2026 (31.7.-1.8. 2026)

Rok 2026 bude pro nás výjimečný – chceme připravit pestrý, živý a inspirativní program, který propojí tradiční keltskou kulturu s jejími současnými podobami.

Hledáme především:

Taneční soubory a performery (irské, skotské, bretaňské, balfolk a další styly s tradičním nebo historickým přesahem),
Lektory tanečních workshopů, kteří umí vtáhnout publikum a přenést radost z pohybu,
Instruktory a lektory pohybových aktivit – mělo by se jednat o aktivity, které budou souznit s festivalem (tzn. vycházejí z tradice či mají historický přesah)
