[Český niže] After a successful tour in 2025, Celtic Legends are returning to the Czech Republic with their energetic show full of Irish music and dance. This time they will perform in just five cities in April 2026 - Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Zlin and Hradec Kralov.
Celtic Legends hail from the wild and beautiful Connemara region of Ireland and have been touring the world since their inception. Their performance, which combines live music, dance and singing, respectfully captures the culture and ancient history of Ireland. The result is a captivating atmosphere that transports the audience right to the heart of Ireland - to its land, music, pubs and culture.
Irish dance has been experiencing a major comeback in recent years. Traditional dance elements make the show more authentic, the dancers and musicians are more creative and dynamic, the audience is more involved - and everyone leaves with the feeling that they were part of something special. Thanks to this, they will also better understand what Ireland really is.
All Celtic Legends dancers have competed internationally from a young age and have won numerous awards, including world championship titles. The musicians are among the world's top performers - they excel with virtuoso playing and an unrivaled love for their art.
Choreographer Jacintha Sharpe, a renowned expert with extensive experience, has selected the best of all the performances and created a dynamic, lively and engaging style of Irish dance. This is what motivated her to join Celtic Legends. She has designed traditional choreographies that perfectly match the live stage sound of the musicians. Complex group numbers complement the freer solo performances that have become the hits of the show.
Celtic Legends' musical director, Seán McCarthy, is widely regarded as one of the best Irish bagpipe players in the world. Seán has won the Uilleann Pipes All-Ireland title six times.

Po úspěšném turné v roce 2025 se do České republiky vracejí Celtic Legends se svou energickou show plnou irské hudby a tance. Tentokrát vystoupí v dubnu 2026 jen v pěti městech - Praze, Brně, Ostravě, Zlině a Hradci Kralově.
Celtic Legends pocházejí z divoké a nádherné oblasti Connemara v Irsku a od svého vzniku cestují po celém světě. Jejich vystoupení, ve kterém se pojí živá hudba, tanec a zpěv, s úctou zachycuje kulturu a starověkou historii Irska. Výsledkem je podmanivá atmosféra, která přenese diváky přímo do srdce Irska – do jeho země, hudby, hospod i kultury.
Irský tanec zažívá v posledních letech velký návrat. Tradiční taneční prvky dělají show autentičtější, tanečníci a hudebníci jsou kreativnější a dynamičtější, publikum je více zapojeno – a každý odchází s pocitem, že byl součástí něčeho výjimečného. I díky tomu lépe porozumí, čím Irsko opravdu je.
Všichni tanečníci Celtic Legends soutěžili na mezinárodní úrovni již od útlého věku a získali řadu ocenění, včetně titulů mistrů světa. Hudebníci patří mezi světovou špičku - vynikají virtuózní hrou a bezkonkurenční láskou ke svému umění.
Choreografka Jacintha Sharpe, uznávaná odbornice s bohatými zkušenostmi, vybrala to nejlepší ze všech představení a vytvořila dynamický, živý a poutavý styl irského tance. To ji motivovalo připojit se ke Celtic Legends. Navrhla tradiční choreografie, které dokonale ladí s živým pódiovým zvukem muzikantů. Složitá skupinová čísla doplňují volnější sólová vystoupení, která se stala hity show.
Hudební ředitel Celtic Legends, Seán McCarthy, je obecně považován za jednoho z nejlepších hráčů na Írske gajdy “uilleann pipes” na světě. Seán získal šestkrát titul Uilleann Pipes All-Ireland.
